TINY [BAU]HAUS - DUS architects / Aectual
2019
TINY [BAU]HAUS : At the beginning of the last century, the Bauhaus movement was founded by Walter Gropius. Exactly one hundred years later, 3D printing platform Aectual, together with DUS architects, is taking the initiative to revive the movement and create a Tiny Bauhaus building. State-of-the-art printing techniques ensure that production speed is combined with customisation.
I was asked to build the tiny Bauhaus around the provided steel structure. Therefore i put together a small crew and hired a spot under the former skatepark in the NDSM wharehouse since my own workshop is too small for such a project. We managed to create an outstanding object where many different skills came together.
The tiny [Bau]haus has been on tour through Europe in 2019/2020.
