Golden Table - restaurant Belezza

A new restaurant, a new concept, a new table.

One big table for around 30 persons to sit around, eat, talk, and maybe even dance on it. A challenge since it needed this gold look, a tight budget and little time to make.
The design came from the well-known and award -winning Dutch production designer / Art Director Harry Ammerlaan.
Using 38mm ecoplex Stabilo massive with a MDF top as a base I created 3 standalone shapes which Vanessa Vermolen covered magnificently with thin gold-look metal sheets, creating this beautiful effect. The whole thing was then sealed with a few layers of epoxy.
